We are creating the platform but it is our users that bring it to life. “We are formed in large part by our community. How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“VRChat is currently free and plans to remain so for the foreseeable future.” Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access? There are already hundreds of worlds to explore and more are added every day using our Unity SDK.”

Come hang out, play games, and meet people! Many of our core systems are in place, including social tools, full body avatars, interactive virtual worlds and content creation tools.

“Even now VRChat is a highly enjoyable experience so we encourage you to take a look even in at this early stage. What is the current state of the Early Access version? Every day we wake up excited to keep improving VRChat. We are constantly adding more building blocks and features to our app and SDK. We plan on making sharing, content creation and streaming easy to do together from within VR. “VRChat will be a complete Social VR creation experience on all platforms.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

We’ve not set a time limit on that yet but as we move forward we’ll keep everyone updated with our progress.” We have big dreams for Social VR and we want to be at the right level of completion before leaving Early Access. Our community is building new worlds and avatars every day. We’re working tirelessly on the core platform to expand features and tools that allow for deeper creation and enjoyment of VRChat. What will you help us dream up next?”Īpproximately how long will this game be in Early Access? We welcome all your suggestions, help with testing and of course your creations. We’d now like your help to shape the next stage of our collective journey. In the last few months VRChat has matured to a point where we feel ready to share it with a larger group. In fact, a lot of our dev team began as social VR fans, and contributing community members. So far our journey has gone well with fantastic contributions from our community and our dev team. Early access gives us an opportunity to share what we and our community have built so far, as well as invite new members to help grow the VRChat universe. We believe that such a platform shouldn’t be built privately, but rather alongside a passionate community who can help shape the future of VRChat. Well, now it does.“Our vision for VRChat is to enable anybody to create and share their own social virtual worlds. The first one did this but the replacement did not. If I try to load FiveSkies, it completes, but within a few seconds it's shoing the LOADING animation and shortly after, it crashes. VRChat works otherwise, though with no interest in the worlds directly available, I have not used it much. I've tried re-installing the app and rebooting the Quest. I can recover using the Oculus button & QUIT. But as soon as I put the headset on again, they're gone and the LOADING animation is back. Oddly, if I put the heaset just outside the playing boundary then I can see the left hand panel, flashing on and off, showing worlds or avatars, but it doesn't stabilise.Īlso oddly, if I take the headset off, but sneak a peak at it before it shuts off the display, I can see those panels and they're not flashing.

It installs and works but when I try to load worlds or avatars it shows the "loading" 3-dot animation indefinitely but never completes loading. I'm running VRChat on a Quest 2 standalone.
